Green International University celebrates the achievement of its student innovators whose research project, “Citrizine Oral Thin Film  A Step Towards Better Health & Easier Care,” earned a place among the Top 50 projects in the Punjab Youth Innovation & Incubation Competition 2026 (CoE-CVE).

The project was shortlisted from a competitive pool of 154 submissions representing 54 universities across Punjab, highlighting the commitment of GIU students and faculty to research, innovation, and healthcare advancement.

The project was developed by Farzeen Iftikhar and Musfirah under the supervision of Dr. Neelam, with academic leadership from Prof. Dr. Mueen Ch., Dean, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences. The Business Incubation Center (BIC), in collaboration with Green Business School (GBS), contributed technical guidance and collaborative support throughout the innovation process.

The team was scheduled to participate in the final round on Monday, 21 September 2026, at Arfa Software Technology Park, Lahore.
